gModeller is the only Sketchup plug-in that imports and exports a gbXML file.
gbXML is the de-facto industry standard for designing resource efficient buildings.
Using gModeller enables the building designer to create gbXML surfaces and openings, identify and label spaces as well as import and export gbXML models.
gModeller is used by creating a building within Sketchup and then applying gModeller textures to the model.
You can then manipulate and export the gbXML model via the gModeller panel.
By using gModeller and Google Sketchup provides a great degree of interoperability with your existing modelling and/or Energy analysis software by removing file formats as a barrier to developing low carbon buildings with the use of gbXML.
gModeller is free for everyone but requires users to register before they can download.
